Here are three more shots of the Harrier that I got today:

A close crop (I like the eye in this one)

Thanks Ed, the light was just perfect when that one was taken, nice evening light with real dark clouds in the background, bathed by a setting sun. Real contrast.

Is this bird where they got the name for the Harrier jump jet?

You sure do have images of birds in flight perfected, Norm. I continue to have trouble with these types of shots.

That first shot is very good but the third shot interests me more because of how the bird is actually focused on you. BTW, in that first shot it looks like the harrier has a down feather in its beak - the remains of a recent meal?

Super series. This keeps my interest kindled. I can imagine the patience and preparation required to bring home these shots must be considerable. Very well done and very well presented...Obi wan!(I see you rising from the mist the hooded robe hiding your expression to all but the bird..."you will fly T O me...you will look right A T me....") Best regards, kudos again for the stellar work.

First rate as usual Norm. I like the 2nd one. Looks like it's taking a peek at you over it's wing. Cheers........thekman.

Top notch, Norm. I like the eyes in the third one, too.

I've just now looked at these and the ones before of the Harrier under attack. Top notch, amazing, wonderful and great photos. I hope that someday I can get my flight shots perfected just a little more like yours. You have really got it down pat. Love um.

Thanks to all of you for your generosity in words, I'm away travelling for the weekend and it's a very pleasant thing to read thee encouraging words. Real glad you are getting some enjoyment from viewing the shots.
