Real nice job, Julie, I like the backgrounds on these and how they bring out the bird even more. Good job on a very difficult exposure.

Yep, good exposure and focus seems to be right on the eye.
Background far enough away to blur out nicely too.

Nicely done...good work. If these had been the predator type (which somehow always draw more interest) they'd be lining up 10 deep to see'em. Not your fault that these guys don't have the same appeal. (like comparing tigers and lions to housecats IMO) Home run shot all the same. Color saturation, contrast and focus workin together like ballroom dancers. Best regards,

Thanks for the comments guys, Ken this bird was taken minutes from my home, Im on the coast and very few predator bird here, I can get those type inland a little but it is pretty hard to find the beggars unfortunately.:-)

The only thing I find annoying about the first shot is those lines in the background, Im wondering if it is worth trying to remove them.
