These shots were takin just at dawn. The sun was only a quarter over the horizon. The light was both good and bad - good because of the colors, bad because - er, well you know - had to shoot these at 160, and if it wasn't for the fact that the Skimmers don't flap their wings...

On the first two shots, you can see the shore birds, Sandpipers, etc, lining the shore, althouh blurred bacause I was panning the camera.
