It's amazing how these monkeys come from everywhere when food appears. Unfortunately I had a TC on my 70-200 so camera shake was an issue. I decided to take these and then switch out the TC. By that time rains started again and I had to pack up my gear and head for cover. Not prize winning but my first 'exotic animal in the wild' pictures so I'm fairly happy...

Thanks.

The pictures were taken near Mumbai (Bombay) India. The actual area is in a national part near some Budhist caves. I was over in Mumbai for 3 weeks on business but I'm back in the states now. I didn't have a lot of time for photography and the time I did have was further reduced by rain (it's their rainy season there). So, unfortunately that's all for the monkey pics. A shame I never had the time to get back to the area and plan a better shoot but unfortunately my company didn't spend $$$$ to send me around the world to take pictures of the monkeys :-)

Nice shots. Hope you didn't get caught up in that rainy mess in Bombay about 3 weeks ago.

Smack in the middle of it 36 inches of water in about 22-23 hours time. Fortunately I was stranded at the office as opposed to folks who were stranded in cars / buses. A lot of destruction there and unfortunately disease was just starting to break out when I left so the after-affects of the flood will be dealt with for quite some time.
