These Dowitcher pictures were shot near dawn, perhaps 45 minutes later.

And this last shot, shows the legs of my irate Gull from my preceding post. :lol

Aside from the Dowitchers, there's also a Willet, A Black Bellied Plover, some Least Sandpipers and I belive a Sanderling or two...

These are nice. I like the last one because of the variety of birds all in one shot. Good job! I am not especially good at photography myself, but very much enjoy birding, so these shots are fun to look at. -BQ

Well I certainly like the Dowitcher pictures better than a horror movie. Great catches Dave.

Ok, maybe I'll answer this question after I attach my intravenious bag of coffee....

There's a similar word for "rich" old lady, but until the coffee kicks in, I can't recall it....

These, I should have noted are "Short Billed" Dowitchers, not the "Long Billed," which live further west - although from time to time, they also check the Broooklyn shore...:lol:
