I like the shots with the surf as BG , they are all very solid captures. The last shot even though a great flight shot is diminished by the steps and railing in the BG. These shots tell the story and allow one to hear the waves and the cries of the birds silenced by the surf, what more can one ask?

Tom

That was my 'trick' picture

All the birds were flying south (ie all the same direction) - That last one just happened to be shot from behind

These are absolutely great. My favorites are the ones with the surf and in this order. 3,1,2,4. Very good captures.

#2 was the most challenging - Boy was that sandpiper tiny and fast! :-)

Thanks everyone...

NHL,

#3 Its excellent in composition and the detail in the wings is perfect. Youve done a great job capturing this bird in flight. I like # 2 because of the dimensional effect youve captured against the blue background. All great captures.. what equipment are you using?
