Default Great Blue heron

Well, since it looks like the image actually showed up in my first posting, I'm going to try another. This is one of the first digital images I shot, with a Sony FD91 I was able to pick up used on ebay. This pretty boy was eating all of my goldfish from my pond, but he was such a looker, I really didn't mind too much. I wish they would come out with the same camera with 3 megapixels or more, since the 14x zoom on this with the steadyshot feature makes it so much fun to use. This was taken through a window from a distance of around a hundred feet.

Why Thank you!

The camera has that great Sony steadyshot technology. I've been able to get some shots that have been better than I ever thought I could. The camera is enormous by todays standards. Considering it only goes up to 850K, I've been surprised that I've been able to print out some respectable 4x6's. It's only been a year, but I am dying to step up to the next level. I guess the closest thing that would be an upgrade would be an Oly C-2100 or the new Lumix FZ1. I'm filling that penny jar and hoping for a bargain!

I really appreciate the encouragement.
