By no means the best images I have of these birds, but it shows that unusual (although not rare) habit they have of sometimes fishing almost on the sand. Sometimes with some rough results. :l

I pushed the film on this one, resulting in too mucyh noise.

In this last shot, he hit bottom, sanpping his head forward, with that unusual neck joint of their that saved his life. To be fair, they don't seem to mind at all.
