Just registered in this forum,saw the post descibing how to post pictures and I decided to give it a try.

This is a lynx I photographed yesterday in the gaiapark-zoo in Kerkrade, the Netherlands, with my FZ5. You can see the nice portrait-blur-effect. Around the ears is a little purple, guess because of the color-contrast. Colors are a little pale, I think the auto-white-balance wasn't optimal - I'll have to experiment with that a bit more.

Anyway, here goes:

Nice job. A little purple fringing ( on the edges) with a background like that white sky is pretty typical. Do you have software for post processing?
