I arrived on a cloudy, misty morning, and all the followiing shots were taken with an hour. The light and visibility changed constantly and the below vary from 1/60 to 1/200

These first three shots were taken within 15 minutes.

I noticed, a half mile across the lake two Great Egrets, trying as best they could to be picturesque...

After scrambling a bit to get closer to the Egrets, I turned when this Great Blue, landed behind me. The background is a stone causeway across the lake.

Finally I closed the gap somewhat between me and the Great Egrets...

By no means was this a day with good light, but it was interesting light, and I couldn't get over how without the clouds breaking, the light continued to change.
