Default Treetop Tryst

I'm trying out a new Sony 2x lens on my uzi... it's no B-300, but it does give some added reach.

Nice shot. You could crop it a little bit, darken it a little bit and sharpen it a little bit. :P

Thank you for your input. This one was a struggle. The chromatic abberation was terrible due to the tele and the backlighting. It took forever to take it out. When I try to darken it, I lose the details on the darker bird. The original looks sharper than this low res copy, but it just got noisy looking when I tried to sharpen it a bit more. I thought I needed a bit of the tree trunks on the outside for depth, but maybe I left too much. This is cropped from the original to reduce the vignetting.

I think I'll go back and revisit this and see what I can do if I incorporate your suggestions. I'll post a corrected copy if I can make it work.

Yes you could do that. But put it in this tread!

Well, I don't know if this is a big improvement or not, but I gave it a try. I could have really used more pixels to play with. Let me know what you think.

I think that's better.

All things considered (very bright background) it's not bad. Difficult image to get right. Darken it too much and you lose the rear bird, not enough the 1st one and surrounds too bright and washed out.

I completely agree... I think it would be easier to write this one off and try again. I was looking for an excuse to go shooting anyway.

Hi Artshot__

This is a very nice photo

It has a nice theme of togetherness, partnership.

I wonder what they are saying to each other...
