After viewing this picture on my monitor it reminded me of the Andrew Lloyd Webber creation. Canon 20D, 70-200 2.8L IS.

What weird coloration, I've never see a bird like that. It wasn't in the bird book I've got by my computer.... is that a domestic?

Really great exposure, that isn't an easy one to get right.

very sharp, good exposure... domestic goose of somekind isnt it?

It's a "Chinese Goose," which is both a wild bird and is also domesticated. So, if not shot on a farm, then it's an escapee....

I'll accept Dave's ID since I know next to nothing about birds. I was driving by the Six Flags Over Texas theme park yesterday and noticed a nice lake...then a lot of ducks and geese on the shoreline. I stopped and took 20 or more various shots.
