I don't know if pix from animal parks count, but here goes - I quite like the way this antelope was looking at me . . .

Nice photo Jim, and yes, it does count. Looks like an African antelope of some sort. What a neck on that critter, interesting symmetry with the horns and tail. Where was the shot taken?


Here's a pronghorn antelope I saw while hunting in the Laramie River Valley of northern Colorado last fall. Not a spectacular image but he was a good distance away, maybe 150 meters.

It was taken at Disney's Animal Kingdom. He was some way off - I was using a 350mm lense hand-held, so I am quite pleased with it. Although he was a way off, he watched everyone who stopped & looked at him.

Your's looks a much bigger animal - I wouldn't like to get too close to him.
