Hi Woody. Yes, I mostly shoot from a fixed blind at a county park near where I live.

bmullen, excellent shots. the background on the first pic is really nice. I would like to see less on the left and a bit more on the right, though. I'm a little envious as I rarely get to see one of these without 4 feet of busshes or branches in front of the bird. nice shooting.

really nice shots.. the backgrounds are lovely, and the pictures are sharp and contrasty.. very nicely done..

i do agree with the above comment about having the bird face into the scene, thus more room on the right.. nitpicking though
