Here's my latest attempt at shooting some birds. They're nothing up to the standard of a lot of the posters here, but I'm trying..........cheers........thekman.

Thanks Steve. I see some of the other posts by Normcar, mullen, houston and a lot of others, and man, those guys should be pros. They are good! I see you've joined the DSLR crowd too. I enjoyed your posts from the wildlife reserve. Very nice. Amazing how many ex-FZ'rs around are changing gear. I imagine you kept your old FZ? I did, but it doesn't get much use any more. Once in a while though.....cheers......thekman.

Actually I sold it to a friend at work.¬* I would have kept it just for the Macro capabilities but, I needed the money to help fund the switch.¬* Man, I loved that camera though.¬* Learning the new format is challenging and fun.¬* All the best, Steve¬*

Thanks bmullen. I appreciate the comments. It was one of the few times I've been able to shoot birds under sunny skies. Seems like it's always gray when I'm usually out shooting birds, and having lots of light really made a difference.....thekman.
