Thanx all!!!! It was overcast and I had to keep playing with exposure comp to get what I did. There definitely were many missed shots!!!!

Eric, I do like the option of handholding the camera but, in this case a tripod mounted rig might be as good or better!

Kem, the nest is visible at one angle. the hawks always went in and left through the sides and back of the tree and not the area where the nest is visible. I'm hoping this year they will have some chicks. I'll definitely be keeping an eye and ear open!!

Dennis, these are wonderful. I love the action shots of the flights with a purpose. And I'm sure you will be getting some more nice ones in the future from this spot.
