OHH! i've been waiting for some Kangaroo shots from you!

Nice little guys! Of course they are so common in Brooklyn that I rarely bother to shoot them....:?

Oh aladyforty... don't do this... you're making me homesick!!!! Yep I'm a true blue dinkum Aussie!

Nice set of photos, captures how they look in their local environment... well done! Just a pity you couldn't get a closer to make a bit of a closer shot of one or two.

A question, as you wrote: "taken into the sun" and "late afternoon light"... it appears some of the photos suffer from flare, did you try to use a lens hood (Or your hand)? Because some shots (e.g. 2) show less or no flare and are have more contrast.... would be good to know.

Anyway, thanks for sharing... Gotta love them 'roos!

And just to add to the theme... here is a kangaroo photo from last time I was Down Under... note the joey's legs protruding from the pouch....

Hey Julie, you've been holding out on us. Why haven't we seen posts of these guys from you before. I would really enjoy some real closeups.

Had a lens hood on, I only had a couple of minutes from when I pulled my vehicle up and got the camera out of the bag before they were on to me being there. I will have to try and get some closer shots sometime.
