Yes absolutely wonderful portraits of this bird.

As for the weather, I just dug out my car. At least I think it was my car, before I could check, the friendly plow man buried it again....

Thanks everyone. smac - you right, weather has been nice. Sorry dave for all that snow on the east coastbut that's why one payes 1/2 million for a townhouse/condo the in bay area.

woody - there is a heron/egret rookery around here where you can get real close and these guys are used to people. Pretty soon they will be fighting with each others for space on those trees.
