Many of you will know my brother Jake. Although we share a passion for the Kruger National Park, unlike him, I was hiding behind the door when artistic talent was being dished out. Although I often visit this forum, I do not normally post photos for the reason that I don't have the time to comment on others and I feel that would be unfair. However, with some prodding by Jake and a little of time on my hands, I'm posting these with thehope that I might convince some of you to visit our wildlife splendour.

Forgotten the name of these, but supposedly rare.

What I know as a rainbird. They make a doo-doo-doo noise like water draining from a bottle.

Hey Zolbol, great to see you have finally posted some Kruger shots and I have to say, they are really decent shots. I especially like number two. I notice the title is Kruger Park 1. Can't wait to see 2.

Hi Zolbol, at last a post from you !! As John says, the Black-Shouldered kite is a beauty. The Saddle-Bill storkis a tad soft, but a nice shot of the two together. All-in all, a nice series [The "rain bird" is a Burchells Coucal]

We're off to the KNP in just over two weeks time, so hoefully we will bring some treats back

The first bird is quite colorful. The #2 is Kite, we have over here in US but I can't never get close.
