I had to do some major cropping to get these shots - the birds wouldn't let me get very close.

Beautiful birds aren't they Jim. And if they are like the Cedar Waxwings they are a lot of fun to photograph also.

Great shots of some lovely birds. We get them veryrarely in UK never been able to photograph one yet.

We don't have the Bohemian out East, but our Cedar Waxwing is very similar and, yes very difficult to approach. Nice shots if you can close crop them so much and still have a good lookat the bird:!:
