went back to the same park and came back with these... all shot wirh FZ20 and TCON-14B.

another wood duck was reasonably cooperative...



i think thi is a widgeon?



and a female redwinged blackbird...

I like the colours in #1, the details in #2 and the composition in #3

I have never got into taking pictures of birds, but afterseeing your pictures. I just might have to give it a try .. I'll have to Find Some Birds First:-)))

Wow! You nailed those shots. Love the reflection with the Woodie. Great saturation and detail on all...especially like the detail and composition with the Red Winged Blackbird. Woody

Jaki, these were shot with a Panasonic FZ20 fixed lens camera with an Olympus TCON-14B 1.45x teleconverter. with the converter, i get the equivalent of 620mm at full 12x zoom.
