I found this Bald Eagle on a post in a residential neighborhood! It was starting to get dark out but I decided to "go for it". I shot it with a 300mm lens and used a flash.

In a residential neighborhood. Wow! aren't you the lucky one. Great picture by the way.....and I hope that wasn't someone's puddy cat.

Thanks Kent. I, too, hope it wasn't a cat! I zoomed way in to try and figure it out but wasn't able to make heads or tails of it!!! It was amazing to watch him go at it though. Tufts of fur went flying everywhere and I have photos of fur frozen in mid-air!

Oh my! That picture just brought tears to my eyes! It is SO beautiful! GREAT job! I am so jealous you not only got to see that, but took such an awesome pic! Thanks for sharing!
