The attached picture is of a Florida Panther which are endangered. We visited the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary a couple of hours south of us. The photo was taken with my 20D in aperture priority with the Canon 70-200mm 2.8 lens. The photo was taken through a chainlink fence. They are beautiful animals.

Thanks ofr letting me share. Other pictures are at:

nice shots. looks very much like what we call a cougar or mountain lion... did you know, the cougar is the strongest, pound for pound, of all the big cats? it can jump over 15 feet straight up, snap an elk's neck, and is the only "big cat" that cannot roar, but purrs.

I "played" for a few minutes with one of these beautiful felines when I did an excusion to the Everglades after I came back from a Caribean cruise. These are wonderful animals.

Enjoy life!

What an awesome experience to get to interact with a "big cat". They are beautiful creatures! It was a real treat to get to see these guys!
