I submitted this photo to megapixel.net, and to my surprise, they put it on the cover. Needless to say, I was surprised. I didn't think it was all that good, but I guess you never know.....cheers.........thekman

Yes, ditto! And how many of us get ANY pictures of these Wood Ducks, let alone a perfect flight picture?

Well done!

Congradulations!

WELL DONE, thekman - what a treat, and well deserved, this is shot to be proud of, the colours of the duck contrasting with the dry grass really makes it an outstanding capture, and of course, the flight capturedjust perfectly. Looks like your wait for a DSLR has paid off. {I hope megapixel.net have paid it off for you :lol:}

G'day there,

first things first, very nice shot. I like ducks and the ones near my place aren't as cooperative as yours was. Well done.

Secondly I went to the site, and I was curious as to where the submit button was so i could maybe one day send in a pic for them to look at and possibly post up. I doubt I will get as good a shot as you have yet, but I am working on it.

Ollie

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. Much appreciated. Makes me think that maybe I'm learning something about photography. A very long way to go though.

Ollie - if you go to their website and click on "galleries", a series of galleries will show up, and you can click on the appropriate link to submit a photo. Hope this helps.......cheers.......thekman.
