Just one of many Pictures taken while in the Everglades. The sun was a little harsh and blew out some of the highlights on the egret, but I still really like the shot.

You know, this is a bird that is photographed frequently but this shot is really asthetic. Love this photo because it has great balance. Very nice.

We spent a couple of days in the Everglades and took lots and lots of pictures:G

It will take a while to sort and PP them all but will continue to post the good ones

Yup.nice shot, mugmar, it is definitely good to sometimes have a good setting with birds/animals instead of the creature on it's own, and this is one of those shots. !!

Zsa Zsa says she likes the photo but resents being referred to as a ‘common" egret. She was rather put off by the insult when she stopped over to watch Florida clobber George Mason. She suggests you might want to refer to the little snowy or cow egrets as common, but it isn't appropriate for a great egret.
