Took these pictures west of Calgary. The Kinglets and Mountain Chickadee were taken with the flash.

Correction: I just looked at the originals again and found that all of the shots used flash.

Wonderful shots, Jim! And, to top it off, you managed to get 2 species of chickadee. Those first two pictures of Boreal Chickadees was a great catch!

Thanks for taking the time to see my pictures. I use a Rebel XT, Canon 300 F4 with the 1.4 extender attached and 580EX speedlight.

Great photos killdeer0007. I particularly like photos 1 and 2, looks very cute that bird. It's good to know what a "humble 350D/ XT" can do, as I have one too (I don't have a telezoom lens... yet) But I'm happy with what I can get from it with my 28-135mm.

Out of interest, why your name killdeer0007, does that mean you "shoot" deers (with a rifle) and shoot birds (with a camera)?
