3. This pretty little guy was a new visitor to my by today. I tried to get closer but didn't make it. Do any of you know what it is.

Beautiful shots! Looked in my bird book, couldn't ID, maybe a warbler?

BTW what lens did you use? Kath

Thanks Kath. I thought it might be a warbler but couldn't find one in my book that matched it.

Anyhow I use the Canon 20D, 100-400L IS lens and with these three I also had the Tamron 1.4x TC between them. All of them were hand held.

Houston, nice shots!! I have yet to get a cardinal half as good as yours!! The last appears to be a Palm Warbler. But, I'm no expert.

Hi Houston - Yes it's one of the 34,564 speicies of Warbler. In this case the Palm Warbler.

The cardinal is beautiful--and the bokeh is quite nice on all of them.
