I am new to this, and my first duck in flight. Probably not that great but I was proud.

Very nice Bgilges! Looks like you were shooting in very low light. A brighter day and a darker background would have really made this shot stand out.

I agree. A little more light and this could have been super. It's still pretty good tho, and shows off the gorgeous mallard plummage. This one was a darn good shot, and would have been super if you could have had the light, and shutter speed you needed.

Very nice. Ducks are very fast to take flight and land, not an easy shot.

Thanks guys. It was a very cloudy day and i was in the middle of shooting him in the pond then he took off on me, so the camera was not ready for that.
