used fill flash on all of these exept House finch- Cardinal F5.6, House finch F 6.3, others F8

great shots there, do you angle the flash upwards to avoid the eyes looking strange from the flash? I have the same flash but have not used it on birds yet, only once and the eyes looked like evils lights in the birds head :roll::-)
