i am indeed. it lets me get shots i couldn't get at all with my FZ20, and although the FZ is still a great camera and will remain in my kit for some things (close-up/macro work, for instance),the 30D and that Sigma EX 80-400 lens is doing a fine job!

Wow Squirl, That's a beauty. I love Cormorants. Those blue/green eye against that yellow beak is awesome. Your setup is really working well. How far were you from the bird? Nice shot. Steve

Thanks,* Is that Sigma stabilized?* (OS, IS, VR or what ever term sigma uses?) It sure seems to take nice pictures.* I haven't been posting here in the wildlife form lately but, I have posted some pics in the Closeup and Landscapes forums.* Thanks for thinking of me, Steve
