I stood in field about thirty feet from the house these two are using and just waited and eventually they came close enough to get some shots. The male seemed a little bolder than the female. As I was leaving, I had to pull about seven ticks off of my clothes. Apparently, there are a lot of them this year.

I like em too! Beautiful birds!

And I hear you about the ticks. I had hoped that the dry spell would kill em off, but they must have been in hibernation. I pulled 20 from the dog, and those are just the ones that couldn't penetrate his coat quick enough. I'll find out later how many got in there...:ak47:
