Just a couple of shots I took in the back yard today. The humming bird is just under a 100% crop.

Amazing birds. is the flower an australian bottlebrush?

It might be, when we purchased the plant it just saidbottlebrush on the discription.The bush grows to aruond 10 to 12'tall and blooms in the spring and fall with the flowers you see in the picture.

After a closer look, it is definately an Australian Bottlebrush. They are highly recommended to attract nectar feeding birds. It must be fantastic to have humming birds in your garden.
