So Chato and I start our walk at dawn and spook a Black Crowned Night Heron. There he is sailing to a dock that floated into the marsh...

So, Chato and I go in hot pursuit, maybe .1 MPH...

And we catch up to him and I get off a few shots.

And then he spooks again, back the way we came, this time flying to some boats that have drifted into the Marsh.

Another few shots, and he's HAD IT with the stupid human and wolf...

Then we come upon this Black Duck, a nice young lady, who allowed us to come close enough to ask her for a date...

Is she smiling at me or showing her teeth?

Love that red eye on the Heron. I have yet to come across the black crowed heron in my wanderings. Supposed to be around here in the summer just never seen them.... might have toseek them out this year.

With the stuff that happens to me and Chato, I Downplay our stories...:G

They are All true, although perhaps, maybe, I don't dress up as a giant chicken.
