I'm thinking about buying the FZ20. Although it's 2 years old, it has features that the new models don't and the sensor is less noisy as well. What is the thread size of the FZ20 adapter? I have a Sony 1.7x tele, a Raynox WAand lots of other macro lens and filters all 58mm. It would be nice if I could use them straight on the FZ20adapter but I don't believe I can. I'll probably have to buy either a step up or down ring.

Thanks everyone for your comments and for getting the bird's name straight.
I'm sorry, but they are all wrong.

It's the Ivory Billed Woodpecker and a rare shot indeed. Although, truth be known, they're common out here in Brooklyn... ()

depends on what adapter you get . if youget the Phayee, it's 62mm, but Pemaraal makes one i believe in 58mm, which would let you use your existing filters, etc. http://www.b-300.com/fz10ac.html

worst case, you'd need some 58-62mm step-up rings...
