All of the photos I have posted were shot with a Panasonic FZ30 camera:

This particular shot was at:

3EZ (19X), A Mode, F5.6, 1/200, ISO 80, 19X 35MM equivelant = 670MM, & Tripod..

Fullframe image (no crop) only resized for posting...

Thanks very much !!!

The FZ30 was on my wish list for so long , i was waiting for a price drop . I was a Kodak Z 740 user and had a Tcon17 on it and i loved the range i was getting , so i looked at the FZ30 as the Ultimate replacement for my Z740 5 mp to a 8mp with all the bell`s and wistle`s . I had one in my hands the day i bought my D50 , at times i regret not having bought the FZ30 as i C that it`s a fine camera by the pictures you show us here !

Thanks for the fine compliment Knight.. The FZ30 does have some nice features for a small sensor point and shoot especially if you like shooting telephotos,,, but,, I will be the first to admit it is not the quality of aDSLR .. On the other hand,, the same telephoto features (430MM, F3.7, & IS) in a DSLR will cost "several thousand dollars"..... Not bad for what it is:-)..

Thanks.....

Gorgeous shot, Keith. The Leica lens is indeed something else, isn't it?!?

Nothing beats the "Golden Hour" Keith, and this shot shows it clearly
