Great shots. I still love the cardinals the most as we dont get them.

Bt I'll surprise you and go with the Catbird. That is one odd looking Catbird. he will never get a girlfirend looking like that....

awful nice shots, Bob... even with a 500, you had to be pretty close! that lens is plenty sharp, that's for sure. i think Tamron lenses are underrated. i have their SP24-135, and am very happy with it.

wish i could get some decent light here... went out today and got some shots of waxwings, but they were in such deep shade i can't do a darn thing with 'em!

Some very stunning pictures there Bob.I hope that I can get aDSLR some time in the future.I only been at this sinceLast year and still have a lot to learn,

Thanks, guys. Squirrel, I was about 8 feet from the blue jay, 15 from the cardinal and about 60 from the woodpecker.
