A Juvenile Bateleur eagle - Not the most handsome of birds, unlike the adult birds. They get their adult plumage at about five years old. These birds are one of the best flyers around.

And lastly,one that got away [this time !] A Burchells Zebra that had it's flank raked by a lion'sclaws.It's quite a sobering thought that every creature in the wild will one day be eaten by some other hungry animal .

Nice shots!!! that slice on the zebra is nasty!!!! how long does it have before it dies of infection or get's eaten??
