Here are a couple of bird shots that I've been able to get this past week. The lighting wasn't great, but for the most part, they are some of the better pictures of birds that I have. Practice makes...well, not perfect, but I'm trying.:G

Nice shots! You did a great job! Birds can be tough they are so small. We have a couple of Cardinals in our yard a lot of the time but they are hard to catch an image of.Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing them!

They don't sit still very long either. Looks like you're off to a great start, Melissa.

These are very good ride16!You'vecapturedthe basicessentialsfor good wildlife photos... lighting, eye contact, poseand enviroment. Shots2 and 5 are my favorite! Some postprocessing for exposure and less crop in #4 would improve that shot (IMO).I enjoy seeing your work, keep posting!

Just to add to what the others said... good job and in #4 I would leave the picture more open towards where the bird is looking, it will help the composition. Photography is an amazing hobby/profession as you are always trying to improve and learn new things... keep posting. :-)

Thanks for checking out my pics, guys! I would love it if I could make #4 look better, but I don't know how to use my photo shop program yet. I do have the same picture that is cropped a little less. I was debating which one to post, but maybe I'll post that one later this evening and you can let me know if that one is any better.
