A group of images, part of no series, so I'm getting rid of them...

A Double Breated Cormorant prepares to get out of my sight.

An Oystercatcher flying cover over the marsh

This shot, I just couldn't resist keeping although shot through a green "filter." A Red Winged Blackbird harrases a Raven, who in turn, trys to nail him.

This strange Heron walked though the marsh. For the life of me I can't indentify him...

But he was a Big Un, as they say.

A Snowy Egret concentrates hard on future techniques.

This Sparrow was difficult to identify. I finally found out that House Sparrows have quite a few sub-species and this is a Female of one of the more obscure ones.

These two, don't normally compete, but chance brought them together, and eventually the WIllet told this Common Grackle to take a hike. Odd, because he was one of the few Willets that wasn't harrasing me.

Well the Willet is not to messed around with. These are tough birds indeed as Chato and I have learned. Although the Willets now leave Chato alone. They must have passed the word that this is one Wolf that can do a neat facsimile of flying. He almost nailed one that buzzed him.

Too bad the tree got in the way of your blackbird/raven fight. That's a great action shot.

It'll never happen again, I barrowed a chain saw from the Parks Department and cut down four or
five hundred tree's.

I'm still cursing. Damn shot was in perfect focus too, even if a couple of hundred feet away. ( )
