A few shots from last week...

1. Purple Martin. This is a rare bird in the Vancouver region, and our Wildlife Sanctuary has successfully reintroduced it to the area. It is one of their finer moments, and the bird seems to be thriving here now. They are easy to find and locate, but hard to photo. They don't make themselves readily available it seems. This isn't the best photo of one, but I was thrilled to catch it....Don.

Gotta love those Cedar Waxwings! The Bee shot is also very cool! :|

Ilike the Merganser shot and the Cedar Waxwing. Can't wait for the Waxwingsto come back my way this fall.

Yup!!! the last 2 are my favorites. they're all pretty good but the bee and waxwing, are just the best of the bunch.
