A "one of each series" Enjoy!

This first shot, right into the sun, was either a Clapper Rail or a Clapper Rail/King Rail hybrid. Hard to tell, but the colors are not quite right for the Clapper Rail.

A Yellow Warbler, shot from a great distance and cropped...

Two Black Ducks over the ocean, heading for the Rockaways.

This is a sad but inspiring shot. All but one of these Brandts Geese is injured and cannot fly. They should have long ago been up in the Arctic. The one who Can fly is mated with one of the criples.

I erred by posting the Robin shot. I meant to post a different one, but couldn't find it. This one should have been captioned, "So that's where that clicking noise is coming from."

My cloak of invisibility was holding up, and I have a series of this guy looking for the clicking sound, and in this shot he finally saw me. He has been keeping a watchful eye on Chato, (which is why I'm invisible) but didn't see me.

Niceassortment of birds you have there. I Like the finch! I'm rather partial to finches and sparrows maybe because the're so tolerant of humans.
