It probably has seen better days. Maybe it's suffering from heat stroke?

Doubtful. It was only about 104 F that afternoon.

Great shot. Love the barbed wire along with the subject. The detail in this is excellent. The subtle shadows in thewooden post looks very, very good.Just a great shot.
