The lighting was perfect for this shot, and no I didn't pay for him to pose! Canon 20D + Canon 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 L IS USM lens. More of my pictures can be seen at http://www.jeanroy-photo.com

Really nice! I like it. A little bright on the edges but it works for this composition.

If your looking for constructive criticism, I'll say the pose is great but the whites are completely blown on the forehead and on the back. Maybe going - 1/3 or -2/3 EV would have helped a bit.

Definitely better! You did a fine job on the post processing, one reason I like posting here is because of the constructive criticism... it makes us all better. :-)

Lovely shot. I agree, the first is a too bright around the edges, but the repost is very nice......cheers.......Don.
