This little fella was part of the herd that converged on us in the previous post - with something so cute, it'sno wonder they are so protective over their babies. It couldn't be more than a few days old, and yet running with the herd !

A Spotted Hyaena tucking into the remains of a giraffe that some lion had taken out a few days prior to us arriving on his scene [pity we missed the lion ]

A Spotted Gennet [cat-like creature] visited our tent one night, my 20D andbuilt-in flash once again doing an OK job !

Jake, all that I (& my wife, also) can say is "WOW!!!" Just stunning shots! It may be no big deal to get pictures that these in Africa but here in suburban USA, these captures are magnificent! I cannot pick a favorite but my wife's fav is the sunset! Like I said in the other thread ...NG needs you!!!

OK OK OK.. I am selling everything .. buying some more lenses.. and new puter... moving to Africa..... where is my bear repellant... oh darn they don't have those there.... wonder if it will work on lions, and tigers ,,, oh my ...

These are very cool!! Extremely nice work... love the Sunrise and the Elephant.
