I have PS7,can someone explain the best way for sharpening?I really don't understand what layering is all about.

It's the start of the most exhaustive and informative article on digital sharpening that I've ever come across. If you want to print it -- and likely you will -- make sure that you have plenty of paper in your printer!

The Light's Right Studio has two sharpening toolkits for Photoshop. All of his toolkits are free. The script set is the pro version and a little harder to use IMO. The action set is the regular sharpening kit and pretty sophisticated. This is the tutorial for the action set: http://www.thelightsrightstudio.com/...ng-toolkit.htm

Dr Mitchell posts as gmitchel on Steve's forums and usually announces his new toolkits in the plug-in forum. I find several of his action and script sets to be very useful.
