Thanks all, I can post someone elses work to give an example of what I am after, but I'm a little concerned how copyright works.If everyone thinks it's OK to,then I will.

Hi,
I know the effect you're looking for, but it's not one I've mastered, I must say I haven't seen it done too often on people though ... I've seen some great ones on animals.
I tried a watercolour, not exxactly what you want, but you may like it. ... Jack
