Wow! Thats really good Eric, thank you for your time and effort. I didn't think an old polaroid could be resurrected, but you guys have shown that it is possible. Thanks again...

I get the same box with red x, when I look at your post, but when I checked your album, the picture is there. Maybe a bad link.
Didn't know your brother, but am very sorry you lost him.

Here's my 'restoration', done using the scratch-remover tool and the clone brush in Corel ProPhoto X2. Faces are always difficult to restore, for me anyway. Only you know if my effort was reasonably accurate.

Toshi43, thanks for the work on this old pic. Yours is as good as it's going to get, much better than mine. You guys are all better than I am at this stuff, my attempts are actually worse than the original. that's why I posted this, and frankly, I am blown away by the talent here. Thanks again..

I haven't looked in here for a while, my eyes have been on the blink (excuse the pun LOL), anyway here's my take, not too much can be done with a low res file. ... Jack

Jack, thanks for taking the time to mess with my old pic. I know about the low res..I may try to scan it for better resolution later, but the "repairs" you and others have made will most likely suffice, since I have no intentions of enlarging the photo. I am overwhelmed by the response, and I can only say thanks..
