I really like this Dennis! But something about his mouth or the effect over his nose makes it look funny. Is there a way to do less on the face or smile?? Overall I like this alot.

Jenn, this was just a quick version ..will redo and try to do a bit better on it. Do you have the original or bigger version, if so send it to me.I can resize this up but be better if I had a bigger one to start with.
Glad you liked it.

My wife saw this, (from across the room) and asked if the boy had some sort of disfiguring disease. I showed her the original file to calm her down. It did get me to take a second look, though, and it does sort of look like the texture of the dog's fur is being carried over to his face. It also gives his eyes and mouth a sort of evil, werewolfy look.

Yes, Brian the whole thing had the same texture applied after I was done smudging, does look weird, didnt take time to refine it. Human portraits are hard for me to do,maybe hard for everyone, I don tknow, but hard for me, all the different shadows in the skin, just drive me bonkers trying to get right. Back to the drawing board...lol.

Started over from scratch, went ahead and resized up. This one may be a bit better. I have the big file that will print 8x10, if you want it.
