Tell that to the New Yorkers who were told the Twin Trade Towers were in Chicago.

Gawd !, some people are picky. Can't you just accept that I've admitted the mistake, there's no world issue at stake in this thread.

End of story. ... Jack.

Now your geography is up the wall, NW England is NOT, and never will be part of Scotland. Just drop it, I don't have the time to argue about trivialities.

Apologies to gellis 1, I've said my piece, and I'm not the pedant here. ... J.

i like most of them but i must say, if id only seen Brynx's edit and not the original i would probly have taken it on face value and assumed it was real, scale looks right and most importantly what a lot of people miss, the shadow seem to be in the places.

Good observation kazuya. Whenever you are placing one pic in another, trying to match the lighting direction is paramount. Otherwise it just looks fake.

Jachol you really are quite anal arent you? Absolutely no sense of humor at all.

back to the fun... wasn't that what this was supposed to be about?!?

This one is based on a concept by Clay Lipsky that I found to be very cool, basically he 'shopped' people in front of historical pictures of nuclear test explosions as an imagined alternate world where we all went to go see nuclear tests like it was a space shuttle launch;

here is his site and it is worth clicking through as he does a much better job then I did

So now you've sunk to snide slurs, and irrelevant comments ... what's next sticks and stones ?.

I really should ignore such childish petulance. ... J.
