I love the effect too. It looks like something you'd see in a hippies photo album.

I used photoshop cs, and to the best of my recollection... I did this.

Emerald photo above 50%
Red photo below 50%
slight curves adjustment
Slight brightness and contrast raise

Thats the best I can tell ya. It usually evacuates my head when I close the file.

Ooh, and I might of used the grain filter

I think there was simply too much green, and a bit over saturated.

I did some hue rotation and pulled it into another season. I did a clone/burn job on the water to remove some of the noise, hopefully making it a bit more peaceful. Rotation was also necessary - the standalone tree can't be more than a degree or 2 off before it looks odd. Let me know what you think!

i think you've guys have found my problem...

too much green..

with that...my idea for a shot here is golden...i'm gonna take it in the fall....depending on when it would be best, according to my idea...and i'll post it after that..

i like this one seth...it's got that watercolor sortof look ferny did..

whoa cool...wat did you do? watever you did, it brought out the browns and yellows and blues...hidden in the green!

curves

saturation

hue

unsharpe mask for whole photo

ink pot with blue swatch for water in foreground

yellow swatch for flower touch up

bridge done in another programme called black magic under wood colors.
